There are no words to thank you for what you have done for me so far by giving me the right tools to become a better version of myself...
The course of CBT that I received from Dr Asko really has been incredible and has made more of a difference than every other type of treatment I have received previously combined.
During our first few sessions I was very apprehensive about opening up to you, but you were kind, patient and encouraging, and you made me feel able to express myself. I learned soon that therapy was not more than I could handle.
Although I cried a lot in our sessions, I always found them extremely beneficial after the feelings would settle in a few days. Eventually, my trauma became just something that happened to me once upon a time, while the distress slowly faded away...
Just want to say thank you for helping me to live a normal life again after my accident, which I thought was forever lost only six months ago.
It's hard to put into words how much you've meant to me and helped me. But, I want to at least thank you for teaching me, through the way you always treated me, how and why to be kind to myself. I never knew that feeling before, because I believed I didn't deserve it.
